Payments

Grant funding and how it works.

There are a few different models for receiving/disbursing funds for grantees. The model applied to any given participant depends on a variety of factors including: the nature of the grant, the reputation of the applicant, the absolute sum, macro state of the industry, among others.

Milestone-based

Every grant will have a tentative roadmap/outline that will break down the task into 4-8 checkpoints based on deliverables.

The first payment is deployed immediately upon onboarding; it is a small portion of the total grant and used to signal commitment.

Tranches are not dependent on time, only the satisfaction of pre-determined objectives. If projects never deliver, they never receive their grant allocations.

The final closure tranche remains locked for 2 weeks after the result after a final delivery is subjected to 14 days of live QA testing.

Example: Project: Building a DEX Funding: 100,000 $ATLA Tranches: 5 Duration: 3 months

Sign-on: ---- 3% (3,000 $ATLA) Tranche 1: -- 7% (7,000 $ATLA) Tranche 2: -- 12% (12,000 $ATLA) Tranche 3: -- 17% (17,000 $ATLA) Tranche 4: -- 28% (28,000 $ATLA) Closure: ---- 33% (33,000 $ATLA)

Methods/Currencies

All ATLETA grant programs are paid out in $ATLA unless there were extenuating circumstances (such as being located in the US) or it was previously agreed upon (during the initially application/onboarding phase).

Limitations

Theoretically, an applicant may request as much or as little as they deem necessary; however, in order to be increase the likelihood of acceptance and reduce risk, there is a general reference range.

Minimum: 750 $ATLA Maximum: 200,000 $ATLA

Anything below this range will trigger warning flags to considered this as either spam, or of questionable value/motive.

Anything above this range will trigger warning flags to consider this as an attempt at extortion, a solution that might need other avenues of realization, and the like.
