Step 2:
Select you Web3 Wallet by clicking “Connect” in the top corner on the upper right hand
You will see a pop-up with over 420 different supported wallets; if you already have one installed in your browser, the interface will automatically detect and label it accordingly.
** If you do not have a wallet, please select one or follow our guide on wallet selection here.
Select the account(s) you want to connect and click “Next” in the wallet interface.
Authorize viewing right permissions by clicking “Confirm” in the wallet interface.
Then you will be prompted with a signature request for a message from your web3 wallet.
If this is your first time ever connecting to the Atleta Olympia network, the dashboard will prompt you to Switch networks, at the same exact time as the permission. In this case, reject the signature and then click on switch to the “Athleta Olympia” Network
Step 3:
Executing the network switch for a first time user requires that they import the Atleta Olympia specifications; thus the Web3 wallet provider will push a “Allow the site to add the network” and show the associated network’s information.
Please verify that all the details are correct:
Network Name: Atleta Olympia Network URL: https://testnet-rpc.atleta.network:9944/ Chain ID: 2340 Currency Symbol: ATLA
If the information matches, “approve” the network.
Finally, after approving the network, simply click “Switch Network”.
Step 4:
Click on the “Staking” block on the upper right hand Or Click on “Staking” in the top menu bar
Step 5:
By default, whenever the staking interface opens up with a connected wallet, the interface shall automatically display the “Available Balance”.
Navigate to the bottom and click on the button where it says “Stake Now”.
* Era’s are blocks of time that signal validator re-assignment and rewards emissions.
In the staking terminal you will provide the specifications of your staking, the length of time for which you wish to stake and the total amount of $ATLA to stake.
* Estimated APR is variable and subject to change ad hoc. ** Estimated Rewards is the total amount of earnings you will accrue for the duration of your stake.
After submittal you will receive a prompt pop-up that will request for you to “review the specifications and confirm.”
* be sure to check off the Terms and Conditions mark before proceeding
Once reviewed, click the “confirm” button and the web3 wallet provider will request a “confirmation” from your wallet to execute the transaction on-chain.
Immediately after the execution of transaction on-chain, your dashboard will update to reflect its most recent state.
Directly below the “Era Counter”, a new block will appear that represents your last staking transaction.
Your available balance, right above the “Era Counter” will adjust accordingly to reflect the most accurate balance.
Step 6:
In order to cancel an existing stake position, you must “unbond” your tokens. To do so, simply navigate back to the Staking Section of the dashboard; bring you cursor to the stake block, and click on the “unBond” option.
This will open up another window which will ask you to specify how many tokens you have available and ask how many you wish to withdraw.
Fill the amount of ATLA in the bar and click “continue”.
This will bring up the confirmation window that will describe the specifications of your withdrawal.
Review it, and if everything checks out, click confirm.
* Unbonding transactions cannot be halted or reversed. Once initiated, users must wait for their era time requirements to elapse before they receive tokens back in their wallets.
This will prompt a confirmation for your Web3 wallet to execute the transaction on-chain, simply click “confirm”.
After confirming in your wallet, the dashboard will automatically redirect you to the staking page, and update the status of your stake by tagging it with an “Unbonding”.
Once the 2 era holding period elapses [~60 minutes per era on Olympia Testnet], the unbonding $ATLA is released, and the block changes to “withdraw”.
Click withdraw, that will prompt your wallet to process the transaction, and simply confirm by signing the message.
* Users are required to have at least enough $ATLA in their wallets to cover gas costs; it is generally healthy to consider holding a single coin just for covering on-chain activities.
